Brewer & Pritchard, P.C., is proud to announce the promotion of attorney Blaire Hickman to partner. Hickman has worked with the firm since 2012.
Hickman obtained her bachelor of business administration from Texas A&M University in College Station in 2007 and her law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston in 2010. She concentrates her practice in the areas of general commercial litigation, general commercial arbitration and mediation, and Medicaid fraud.
Hickman has extensive experience handling complex business and commercial litigation, large contract negotiations and arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution. In addition, she represents clients who were victims of insurance companies acting in "bad faith." Her other experience includes cases involving breach of contract and whistleblower lawsuits (known as "qui tam" fraud).
"Blaire brings more than just experience and knowledge of the law to each case she handles," Brewer said. "She also brings a personal touch. She has the ability to make clients who are in unfamiliar and often difficult situations feel comfortable."
Hickman is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She also is a member of the Houston Young Lawyers Association and Houston Bar Association.
