Letters sent to Virginia colleges say mandatory COVID vaccine requirements should be revoked

If you're forced to get vaccinated without your consent, it can infringe on your personal, moral, and/or religious beliefs. It also violates your constitutional rights. Recently, colleges and universities in Virginia have implemented mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements for the thousands of students planning to return to campus this fall. In response, letters were sent from William J. Olson, P.C., Attorneys at Law, to the presidents and board chairs of the colleges asking them to reconsider and revoke their mandatory COVID-19 vaccine requirements.

The letters (view in full here and here) which question why colleges would require students to take the COVID-19 vaccine were sent on June 17, 2021, to:

  • Union Presbyterian Seminary

  • University of Lynchburg

  • Virginia Wesleyan University

  • Washington & Lee University

"Your institution’s policy is putting these students, and their parents, in an untenable situation," the letter states.
